August

  • Ana Morgan’s Stormy Hawkins, a sensual western historical, will be released by SoulMate Publishing on September 27th.This is book 1 in a 3-book series.
  • Rolynn Anderson has released her eighth novel, Cézanne’s Ghost, a contemporary romantic suspense, with Rawhide Press.
  • Nola Robertson has released her story, Stolen Surrender, a Paranormal.
  • 2017 RWA Golden Heart finalist Christina Hovland’s book Confessions will be published in the Spring 2018 by Entangled Publishing.
  • Tina Newcomb has self-published a new release, Finding Eden on August 14, 2017.
  • Marissa Doyle’s SKIN DEEP won the 2017 PRISM Award for Best Urban Fantasy, awarded by the Fantasy, Futuristic, and Paranormal Chapter of RWA, at an award ceremony at the RWA National Conference in Orlando in July. She also published her story “Alea Iacta Est” in an anthology titled Nevertheless, She Persisted, through Book View Café on August 8.
  • Marlow Kelly, has a new release, Sun Storm, through Viceroy Press.
  • Anna Durand’s new release called Fired Up, publisher, Jacobsville Books AND Dangerous in a Kilt, she won first place, erotic romance category, Oklahoma RWA’s National Readers’ Choice Awards.
  • Lynda Rees’ first sale, Gold Lust Conspiracy to Sweetwater Publishing.

July

  • The cyber mailbox brought in this good news this week from Zara West, with her new release, Close to the Skin, romantic suspense winner of the 2016 Pages of the Heart and Book 2 in the The Skin Quartet series, will be released on August 18th.

June

  • Clap your hands to Arwen Lynch, she released her book, Mapping The Hero’s Journey with Tarot:  33 Days to Finish Your book, on June 8, 2017.
  • A big shout out to Marissa Doyle, her manuscript, Skin Deep, is a finalist in the Paranormal category of First coast Romance Writers’ National Excellence in Romance Fiction Award as well as in the Urban Fantasy category on the Fantasy Futuristic, and Paranormal RWA chapter’s PRISM Aware for published authors.

May

  • Congratulations to Jennifer Britt! Her book, Memories of You, is a finalist in the Holt Medallion contest hosted by the Virginia Romance Writers chapter of RWA in the Best Book by a Virginia Author and Short Contemporary categories. That’s really great, Jennifer!
  • Catherine Chant’s young adult time travel romance, Nothing Stays The Same, is a finalist in the OKRWA National Reader’s Choice Awards. Way to go, Catherine.
  • Marissa Doyle reports that her book, Skin Deep, won the Paranormal category of the Wisconsin RWA’s Write Touch Readers’ Choice Award. So cool, Marissa!

April

  • Congratulations to Rolynn Anderson who launched her book, Bad Lies, a romantic suspense novel centered on golf and geology, at a local golf pro shop, one of the settings of the story. She had a blast and sold 24 books! The pro shop agreed to display and see her book too!
  • Susan Dunn just released her completely rewritten romantic suspense, Hear No Evil. Previously, it was traditionally published.
  • Arwen Lynch wrote a book, Secrets of the Mystic Gove through U.S. Games Systems Inc., due out late Spring 2017.
  • Nola Robertson’s  new release called Hunter Enslave, releases 4-13-17.
  • Josie Reviera’s contemporary romance, Oh Danny Boy, has been approved for Kindle Scout.

March

  • Congratulations to Jill James, Book 2 of the Time of Zombies series, The Zombie Hunter’s Wife, is now available as an audio book!
  • Great news from Josie Riviera. Her Regency Inspirational romance, Seeking Patience, is now an audiobook!
  • Congratulations to Christina Hovland. Her manuscript, Things I’ll Never Say, is a 2017 Golden Heart® Finalist in Contemporary Romance.
  • Congratulations to Janet Halpin. Her manuscript, Beryl Blue, Time Cop, is a 2017 Golden Heart® Finalist in Paranormal Romance.
  • Congratulations to C.R. Grissom. Her manuscript, Mouthful, is a 2017 Golden Heart® Finalist in Young Adult Romance.
  • Congratulations to Scarlett Peckham. Her manuscript, Confess, Your Grace, is a 2017 Golden Heart® Finalist in Historical Romance.
  • Marissa Doyle, was a published contest finalist in the New England Readers’ Choice Award
  • Give a hand to Dylann Crush! She signed a 3-book deal with Sourcebooks for her debut series set in the fictional town of Holiday, Texas. The first book will be published in spring or summer 2018.
  • Give a hoot to Rolynn Anderson, with her new release, called Bad Lies by Rawhide Press.
  • Way to go Elizabeth Spaur, for her release, Decades of Love published by Sin City Romance Writers.
  • Constance Bretes received a contract offer from Beachwalk Press Inc. for Jade’s Redemption. Release will be in September 2017.
  • Great news from Christine Grissom, who celebrates her first contest final. Mouthful is one of five entries to final in the 2017 Great Expectations Contest, Young Adult category. Sponsored by The North Texas Romance Writers of America Chapter, the contest features unpublished works from both published and unpublished authors. 
  • A round of applause for Zara West, She heard that her unpublished romantic suspense In With the Tide has finaled in the Emma Merritt Contest sponsored by San Antonio Romance Writers.
  • Congratulations to Constance Bretes, who released her sixth book, Blue As Sapphires, with Beachwalk Press on February 16, 2017.

  • A big hand of applause to Kevin McLaughlin who made #45 on the USA Today bestseller list last week as part of a PNR/UF boxed set, “Dark Legends”!  Congratulations! Kevin.
  • Great News from Nola Robertson and her new release, Hunter Bound, a 42,500-word Paranormal.

  • Christina Hovland is excited to announce she is now represented by Linda Camacho of Prospect Agency. Linda signed her off of her manuscript, Things I’ll Never Say. Christina is thrilled to be working with her, and we’re thrilled too, Christina, Congratulations!
