About the Instructor:
Arwen is a professional Tarot reader. She began reading Tarot in 1985 and now reads online and in person for individuals as well as at parties. She uses the Tarot as a personal inventory system. When she teaches others to read the Tarot, she tells them to "let the cards tell you a story." It occurred to her that she could do just that with the Tarot and her own fiction writing. Since that time, she has developed spreads to focus on the various aspects of fiction writing. If you have ever wondered about a character's back-story or how they might get from one incident to the next, then you will enjoy this workshop. Arwen promises to keep you involved and active with plenty of homework as you learn how to utilize the Tarot for your own writing. She is also currently writing a non-fiction book entitled Tarot for Writers.
Join Arwen Nightstar the week of November 8th through the 19th. Plan on lots of questions and lots of working on spreads. Please have a tarot deck to work with. If you don't have one, the Rider-Waite deck is a common deck with well-known symbols. You do NOT need to know the cards to participate in this workshop. You will come away with tools you can use in your daily life as well as your writing life.
