Week 6 Goals:
Back on the horse, make progress on my book. Trying for minimum of 15 minutes a day, but every word I write today is a word I didn’t have yesterday and that’s a victory.
Signed up for a year of the AutoCrit on-line software. This may help productivity quite a bit, because it helps highlight some of the things I get bogged down in when I try to do revisions (over-used words, repeated phrases, etc.). Ran the first chapter of the current project through and was surprised at how quickly I cleared out a bunch of underbrush.
Do you ever feel like you aren’t being productive, but when you take a step back, you realize that you’ve actually accomplished a lot?
Oh, yes. There are times I’m convinced I’m not being productive at all — only to realize later that I’ve taken some significant steps, even if they’re not huge ones.
