I think you need to dig deep into your characters. For the wish to matter it has to “cost” her something. Something big. Not so much money, but time she doesn’t have, her idea of what she wants in her life, her idea of success. It always comes back to GMC-goal, motivation, conflict. In plotting, I use what does he/she want? why do they want it? why can’t they have it? You know your story best. What wish could she try to grant that would cost her what she “thinks” she wants the most?
