I also like an uncluttered space. I don’t know about smashing goals, but I met them. 🙂 I’m relieved that my story is coming together better, too. I think I’ve found a good method for myself: do some basic plotting so that I don’t get into the weeds, but write the scene or section that is speaking to me that day. Sure, I have to go back and make scene transitions smoother, but I have to make several passes at editing anyway. 🙂 I feel less pressured and writing is more of a relief this way. This coming week will be stressful, so I think I’ll focus on scene transitions and ironing out some of the flow. That will make me feel good about my progress.
