Vicki, I love that you learned something about your process from SIAW! I always learn something new about myself when doing these events–really, that’s the most valuable thing about doing this.

I wrote 721 words tonight and feel great. What I’ve learned is that 45 minutes is about as long as I can sustain a concerted effort. I’m also realizing that I need to just start writing. I’ve been thinking about the faucet quote you shared on Monday. It’s so true. When I sit here trying to figure out the perfect way to get started, I get nowhere, but when I ignore the inhibitions, the words flow.
P.S. I didn’t check in last night, but had 292 words. Last night was not a faucet night. :-/
