Love the quote, and after spending most of the summer in a writing fugue I can certainly identify with burn-out. I had to stop forcing myself to write and, instead, start thinking about the characters and where I wanted the story to go. Once I did that, the words came. Not as many as I’d like, but I’m blowing and going and need to slow down.
Last week, I fell short of my goal of 3000, but I did get 2016 new words down so I’m okay with that. I think I’ll shoot for 2500 this week. Happy writing, everyone.
