I’m quickly learning that burnout is real. I’m so glad you got your writing mojo back!
If there’s one thing I want everyone to take away from this group it’s to be kind to yourself. Not necessarily easy on yourself, it’s okay to push yourself to do more, but to take care of yourself while you’re striving to do better. I hope that shines through.

Love the quote, and after spending most of the summer in a writing fugue I can certainly identify with burn-out. I had to stop forcing myself to write and, instead, start thinking about the characters and where I wanted the story to go. Once I did that, the words came. Not as many as I’d like, but I’m blowing and going and need to slow down.
Last week, I fell short of my goal of 3000, but I did get 2016 new words down so I’m okay with that. I think I’ll shoot for 2500 this week. Happy writing, everyone.
