I finished my edit goal for today and only have two more chapters to go. Then I want to do a spell check and also go over the larger changes I made (they’re easy so spot because I’m making the changes in Word’s Track Changes and they’re in red. Then I”m shooting the whole thing back to my editor. Good riddance. It’s worth it, though, because it’s making the manuscript a whole lot better.
Interesting that you make quilts. While I admire them, I’ve never made any. When I was little we had a friendship quilt that had belonged to my grandmother. None of us realized what we had and we didn’t take care of it. We used it and used it until the fabric wore out and the stuffing came out. Each square had a stitched signature of one of her friends. It wasn’t until years later that I read about friendship quilts and realized we had something special.
