Hi Vicki, Great chapter, but they don’t have to forgive each other to have sex. I was disappointed that they did. Her telling him to get out and the shoe throw felt like it was building into sexual tension but doused by her everybody leaves question. I wanted a stronger reaction from Elise earlier in the chapter, especially when he mentioned her mother leaving—a slap, push, a verbal dig at his soft spot. Would explain why he took his time going to her aid when she falls. You are probably too young to remember the show ‘Moonlighting,’ a cheesy 80’s show, but one that pulled off sexual tension. I guess in this scene I wanted a bit more of that—things said that they’d soon regret and could mull over and forgive after sex.
