Hi Vicki, I posted in my own thread an apology to all of you for being completely MIA in December. My son ended up testing positive for COVID after a soccer tournament and then I also came down with it. We had relatively mild symptoms compared to all the stories we hear so we are grateful, but it really through us off our schedule for the holidays and I was so behind that some of my writing stuff fell by the wayside because I had a release to launch and some FTHRW obligations. It may take me a bit to get back on track. 🙂
Enjoyed this chapter. I missed Eric and Elise. 🙂 I did comment in the end about Elise’s motivation to do something so silly as to leave her brothers and go to her house. I think you need to ramp up her motivation. See my comment on the end. Otherwise, loved getting back into the story.
