The Productivity group had a great January! We held our annual Chain Event, where members write or edit every single day in January. Eleven members participated, and though not all of the numbers are in, we are at 142,398 words written and 111 hours edited in January by these members so far.
I continue to make Zoom focus sprints available to members. Most of the time, Sunday is our most popular day for sprints.
The group members and I are talking about a possible Sprint-in-a-Week (SIAW) writing drive toward the end of February, but nothing has been finalized yet.

We have webinars planned for the months of March and May. These workshops are provided to us at no cost by RWA and we use their meeting platform, also at no cost to us. The only catch is that they’re for FTH members only.
Here are the two we’ve selected:
Markicity 101 Presented by: Jessie Edwards, RWA Marketing and PR Manager (March) & Worldbuilding: Writing Vivid Settings Presented by: Kate McMurray (May)
After polling some of our members on Facebook, we found they preferred to have the Markicity one first, so that’s what we’re going with. We’ll do the same as last time, one showing on Wednesday evening and a replay on Saturday morning.
Our stats for the last webinar were: Wednesday 10 attendees & Saturday 6 attendees.
