Learning to be okay with failure is a challenge for me. I observed my students who did well were likely to be a-okay with failing! But as the professor, I felt I couldn’t make mistakes in that same way, that I had to know what I knew. I also needed to know what I didn’t know, that is recognize where my understanding ended.
But at some interior place, failing at something is a problem for me. I’m going to work my way through your suggestions, including writing an error-riddled outline.
