I wrote 8836 words last week and wrapped up the draft of my novella. Doing the edit thing, now. My goal for the week is to finish edits and start writing book 1 of the new series. Trilogy. Single book if it doesn’t do well. HA
Dory, I hope Curly is doing better. Stay safe in that blizzard. Brrrrr. I’m out here in pretty much the temperate weather capital of the US, San Diego, and I haven’t been to a cafe in a year. I don’t get a lot of writing done that way, anyway. I people-watch and take notes. If you want to have the experience of writing with others, you’re always welcome to pop in on the Zoom sprints. You’ll have to supply your own coffee and scones, though. 😉
Kathy, I’m impressed with how much writing you’ve gotten done in January. Thanks for being such a source of support on the Chain Event post, too. 🙂
Laura, if you want to schedule another afternoon sprint, I’m game. Just let me know on the sprint post and we’ll set something up. We’re sprinting tonight at 5pm Pacific, which I believe is 6pm your time if you want to join in. I know you’ll find your groove soon. 🙂
Jeanne, it sounds like you had quite the week. I’m glad to hear that you were able to make headway into your edits despite all the interruptions. Have you ever taken a Margie Lawson class? I highly recommend them. She has one called “Empowering Characters’ Emotions” that is so good. I think you’d get a lot out of it, too. https://www.margielawson.com/product/march-2022-empowering-characters-emotions/
I get no kickbacks for promoting this class, by the way. I took it myself and loved it. 🙂
Have a great week!
