    Hi, Cheryl and everyone,

Well, I’m getting in at least two hours a day writing and writing-related activities. I’m on the last two rounds of editing for my 3 novellas and 3 short stories. That’s proofreading and then spell checking. I’m starting to feel overwhelmed again – I’ve got 3 completed novels sitting on my hard drive that need to be worked on. I’ve also found some errors in two of the books I published on Amazon. The good thing about print on demand, though, is that you can go back, correct those errors and resubmit the manuscripts. And I’ve also designed a new cover for for one of the books (the original cover is one I used KDP’s Cover Create to design). But I’ve got to keep my immediate goal in mind – and that’s getting my collection of the 3 novellas and 3 short stories published.

It feels like I’ve got enough to do to take up the next 2 or 3 years without even writing anything new! I’ve been busier during the COVID restrictions and lock down than I ever was before and I’m grateful for that. I’m grateful I’ve had writing to keep me that busy.

It looks like that the mask mandate and other COVID restrictions in Hawaii will all be lifted by March 26. I think Hawaii is the last state to lift the mask mandate and other restrictions.

I was looking forward to this with the intention of going back to the food court in the big shopping center again to socialize with my retired friends. But my two friends who I was really going to be with are now in nursing homes and won’t be going to the food court again. One had a heart attack several years again and also suffers from dementia. The other lady, my dear friend of 43 years fell down a flight of stairs at church in September of last year. She suffered several broken bones and multiple strokes. The food court just isn’t going to be the same without them. Dear friends in failing health is very sad.

Well, I’ll just keep writing. I am grateful I have this gift to focus on and keep me busy.

    Have a good week.

    Jeanne
