Kathy, I’m glad to hear you found the perfect spot to finish your story! Endings can be so challenging.
Jeanne, I know what you mean about trad publishing. It seems like it would be so much easier, yet a few of my friends are trad published, and they still have to do a lot of marketing. I think only the biggest names get the marketing dollars with traditional publishing. Or, at least, that’s how I see it. Midlisters, not so much.
Dory, I used to be such a workshop junkie. Now I take fewer classes, but I try to make sure I give the ones I take my full attention. Having said that, I’m still in the Margie Lawson class and I’m the most distracted I’ve ever been. Sometimes my timing is just off, I think. I love that your husband bought you a Mother’s Day gift from the kitties. He sounds like a great guy. 🙂
As for me, I started in on my edits. I have two projects in edits, and I’m going to plow straight through them both. I managed 5 chapters edited this week, which feels like progress, so feeling good about that. 🙂
