    Jeanne,

    A good proofreader is worth her weight in gold. You wouldn’t believe the weird mistakes I make that mine catches. LOL Once I had what I called “The Popeye” where I would occasionally write “me” when I meant “I.” No idea why I did that. I was in this weird zone. My proofreader caught them all. 🙂

    I think what I need for my short stories is a proof reader, someone who looks for typos and punctuation errors (like putting quotation marks at the end of a line that’s not dialog or putting 2 periods instead of one or using the wrong form of a word. One of my frequent errors lately is leaving the y off of your and typing our).
