So good to hear from you all!
Kathy, way to whip that story into shape! 🙂
Jeanne, I love the way you said that you continue to write because no matter how bad things get, you still have this gift. Writing truly can be a gift during hard times, can’t it? ❤️
Laura, you aren’t alone. There’s no reason you couldn’t do both, though. Why not consider hybrid publishing? Best of both worlds! 😁
Good to see you, Mona!
When someone says they write best in longhand, I always think back to Natalie Goldberg’s “Writing Down the Bones.” She fills notebooks with writing as her Zen practice. I’ve always thought that was a lovely way to write. I prefer typing my stories, but when I’m working through a challenging scene, I sometimes write it out on paper and even sketch a little. Anything to get my brain working again. 🙂
My rewrite/edit is going well. I’m on track to finish by the end of June so I can start the next one.
My goal is to finish 7 chapters a week until this baby is wrapped up. 😉
Oh, and we pushed the next Sprint-in-a-Week (SIAW) to July. Fingers crossed it happens. If not, we’ll do it in the fall.
Have a wonderful rest of your week!
