This week is just flying by. I kept getting side tracked into doing other things last week and really had to make an effort to make my minimum goal of writing for 2 hours a day. I think part of the problem is that I’ve got to plan my WIP more and not just pants it. I know how I want it to end up but am having a problem coming up with just how I’m going to get it from what I’ve already written to how I want it to end. In fact, I’m not even sure how I want it to end. I’ve made a little progress brainstorming with the question of “what has to happen to get from where I am to where I’m going? And where do I want it to go?”
Meanwhile I came up with a new page for my website called “Looking Back: A glimpse into History.” I’ve done three posts in this page so far – one on the “Hello Girls” – female telephone operators in WWI, one on “The Harvey Girls,” and one about Maggie Lena Walker. Many people have never heard of Maggie Lena Walker and she is a very inspirational person. I’ve got a few more ideas to write about.
Meanwhile on my 3 novellas and 3 novelettes, I’m almost ready to send it to the U.S. Copyright office and then publish as an eBook and a paperback. I’ve got one more edit that I’m doing – more of a final proof reading with some redoing some of the sentences so they’ll flow better. Then off to the copyright office, then publish. This will be the first book I’ve published in over a year.
Well, that’s all for this week.
