Thank you, Jeannie and Cheryl, for taking the time to answer me and for your great insight. I think I will change the motel into a gay bar with a few rooms to rent upstairs. and have it empty so when it blows up it wont kill anyone but the one person necessary to the plot.
The show(Trixies Motel) itself has not yet started to run; It’s on an extra pay channel. But Ièd love to see the show. But for now it’s just advertising its upcoming debut.–
yes, definitely, I am going to change the name–and Cheryl, you have echoed my thoughts. about sensitivity. I hope I have made her(yes trans) a complex character because it’s her that shows the heroine how to find her authentic self. yes, there will be some comedy but not, I hope at her expense. I will try to find someone(s) I can run this by. I don’t know any but I will look into it. The only trans person I knew well was a relative who passed from heart failure a few years ago. I can still hear my mom,( in her 80ès then), remarking, I adore her, but why couldnèt she be just gay like normal people.
Have you ever seen the show–Drag me down the aisle–we got a few free episodes where drag queens helped brides with their weddings. It was funny, touching and lovely. and they introduced the queens with and without their personas. so you could see the person behind the clothes, make-up and behavior.–I wish I could have gotten more episodes.
So thank you for reminding me of other possible issues besides those legal.
