      Hello Writers!

      Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Happy Mother’s Day ❤️ to everyone who celebrates it.

      “Don’t worry about breaks every 20 minutes ruining your focus on a task. Contrary to what I might have guessed, taking regular breaks from mental tasks actually improves your creativity and productivity. Skipping breaks, on the other hand, leads to stress and fatigue.” –Tom Rath.

      What do you think of this advice? Does it work that way for you? I tend to tunnel-vision, hyper-focus on tasks and have to set alarms to remind myself to stand and move the laundry and quit working. Wondering if I could benefit from this advice or if it’s all wrong for me. That’s the trick, isn’t it? Finding what’s right for the way our brains work. Experimentation is key.
      Guess I’ll be breaking out the tomato timer this week…
